Well the world does not get tired of surprising me with new amazing music, this time is a hidden synthwave act from Denmark, called Code Elektro; (man it's time to update our list of countries to look out for fresh new electronic music).

Martin is the head of the project, he labels his music as something out of the 'Stranger Things' series or the classic movies Tron or Blade Runner for example, and that could not be more true, BUT i would add that when i heard his newest release, the instrumental synthwave track titled "Cosmonaut's Dream" it made me feel like i was inside a scene of a Cyberpunk Videogame, more specifically, it reminded me of Deus Ex (if you didn't play the game, link's here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_Ex_(video_game)).

The track has a haunting opening, and builds up slowly through those classic 80s synth arpeggiators, always revolving around a science fiction ambient setting.

The production feels very well polished and what did stand out for me was the thrilling melodies evolving though a neverending atmosphere of mistery, like in a cyber world with a post apocaliptyc futuristic atmosphere.
There are enough variations in this track to keep you listening until the end, it has a perfect length for me for this kind of style. It also has a nice touch at the end adding a distorted voice, like a transmission, giving tribute to the track's own name: a Cosmonaut dreaming something uncertain.

Conclusion: I enjoy synthwave/vaporwave instrumental tracks when they are made in this fashion, very polished, decent build ups, hooking synth melodies at right times, and yes, this can easily be the main background music for a triple A cyber punk videogame, or at least a Blade Runner sequel.
Martin is great producing electronic instrumental music who delivers great atmosphere in his tracks (i heard a couple other tracks as well and they are great!)
Give this a chance specially if you enjoy instrumental electronic tracks!
