"Let us open by saying our colleagues from Purzynth Records have been doing excellent work promoting the electronic scene, especially the synthwave one, and have been releasing excellent compilations for the genre.
Last year the label released FUTURE NOW 2.0 with several powerful tracks provided by amazingly creative artists.
For now, we wanted to highlight and feature 'Oblivion' from the band Alisster; just immediately from the intro you get hit by a powerful drumbeat and a modern high-quality synthwave production, along with a fine catchy synth melody.

The song is polished with all the nuances we love about synthwave, big reverbs, classic futuristic synthleads, and a deep cyberpunk-esque bassline.
The vocals are treated excellent, polished with the right amount of effects and the performance itself is perfect for the style, this surely feels like what we call 'Modern Synthwave'.
And to finish the track in an outstanding way, Alisster incorporates an electric guitar solo that upgrades the song to a whole new badass level. Overalll the mood and atmosphere of the song are captivating and gorgeous with a dark synth touch.
This production and the band, in general, are on par with super high-quality productions from 'rival' labels, like FIXT, and artists like Pylot, Essenger come to mind. (we love both FIXT and Purznth just to settle that clear).

INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]

I was looking for a post apocaliptic vibe. the idea is begin a life at 0, were now we have and we are nothing more than war survivors, and our anger and fury of what just happened feed us to stand up and figth, turnung ourselves into half human and half machines, thats why in some parts of the song the voice sounds a bit more robotic than other ones, and i thougt that the best way to get that vibe was doing it on Dark Synth, finaly i wanted to use guitars, thats why i wrote a solo for the last part of the song, i use FL STUDIO, the main mixing plugins that i use are by fabfilter, and for the mastering i use the plugins pack by Blugin alliance.
