"To begin the year synthrocking, now it's the turn for another great synthwave artist from Mexico, it's no surprise that Purzynth Rekords is a house for high-class synthwave artists like Alisster, Thermal Noise, and several others and in this feature, we dissect why Blind Cobra is among this ranks.
'Burning Man' is a perfect example of the passion this band has in their craft and how they've skillfully embodied producing modern synthwave tunes.

It's also not hard to notice a slight influence from other top synthwave artists like LeBrock (FiXT), in the way that Blind Cobra successfully blends a rockier vocal style and impressive high-pitched notes full of energy and determination.

The music production follows a classic but modern approach to synthwave music that feels really fresh, compelling, and catchy and also leaves you with a powerful punkesque attitude, especially with how the guitar work and melodies blend perfectly with the mood and message the song represents.

Being a relatively young artist, it's fascinating to think about how the expectation of something new from Blind Cobra can leave in a listener and invite them to keep an eye on how their evolution will progress in the future.

Again, no surprise about the high quality, but we were really impressed by the vocal work and how the music production and instrumentation were ensembled in this epic vibrant track that should invite anyone to follow the band for their upcoming releases.

INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]

I've started the synths and the drum sequence for this song (just after realising my last single from 2021 so it couldn't make the cut in time) . later in January my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia so ive had to put blind cobra in a hiatus since my wife and I started to process the news . in approx July my good friends Irving hdz (dj) and jay jimenez (vocals) helped me to finish this songs (burning man and neon whales) now adding my guitar riffs and the dope vocals from jay. Here is the backstory from jay about the lyrics "This is a song about the tragic events that happened on September 7, 2017 at the "Burning man festival". Aaron Joel Mitchell decided to run towards a burning statue causing his death. His family and friends don't understand why he made such a horrible decision, but the only sure thing is that his chaotic state of mind got the best of him. R.I.P"
