"Brian Hazard is one of the earliest electronic musicians of the underground modern synthpop scene since SYW founders first encountered his synthpop project Color Theory around 2002 - 2004 in the infamous website Electrogarden (some synthpop veterans & underground artists may remember this, specially the interesting dicussions in the forums, but that's another history),

he's also a very talented audio engineer skilled in mixing and mastering (spanning around 25 years of work, here you can find more detailed info on Brian's musical experience https://en.everybodywiki.com/Color_Theory_(musician)), his latest release "Sniper" packs everything Brian is excellent at, a clean production, great mixing, and achieving that old school synthpop sound from the early 80's, specially influenced by 'Speak & Spell' and 'A Broken Frame' from DM.

His mellow vocal tones sit perfectly in the mix and pace perfectly with the uptempo beats of the song that communicate a sense of urgency in a kind of sweet & strange way. If for some reason you haven't listened to Color Theory and specially if you love that clean unpretentious sound of early synthpop, give a little space to Brian's 'little' electronic music project, you'll get hooked!"

Supernatural Advisory #088: Three on a Match

Avoid lighting three cigarettes with a single match due to heightened risk of death by gunfire.

CONTEXT

Three soldiers decided to smoke cigarettes together after dark. The strike of the match alerted an enemy sniper of their presence. As the second soldier lit his cigarrette from the match, the sniper took aim at the target.

As the third soldier attempted to light his cigarette from the same match, he was shot and killed by the enemy.
